RE: [SuSE Linux] Linux & support (what support)
Hi, I actually phoned around some of the places advertising Linux, (SuSE & RH), prior to buying my first copy. Most places were very helpful, but I got better response from John Winters of 'The Linux Emporium'. He asked about my computers configuration, my own skills at hardware and software problems, then recommended which distro. he thought would be easier for me to get installed and running on my PC. I think he was also mentioned in one of the articles in 'Personnel Computer World'. Not once did he recommend a puppy, kitten or rabbit to help with my progress to the world of SuSE. :) Tim Delbaere Environment & 0171 692 8024 ) EGH 603 <mailto:txdelbae@ctrl.co.uk> Mitchell Scott wrote: I lie, there is a shop the "Linux Emporium" in Wallington Surrey, probably a pet shop -- To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e Check out the SuSE-FAQ at <A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/</A">http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/</A> and the archive at <A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html</A">http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html</A>
