[opensuse] Driver for Intel 3945 wireless card
I see on YaST the firmware for this card, but I do not see the driver itself. The page http://en.opensuse.org/Wireless_network_card#Intel_Pro_Wireless_.28IPW.29_39... implies that both these packages should be available on the non-oss repo. Where is it? Or is it already in the kernel, which the page doesn't mention? Yep.....installs with NO problems, EXCEPT, that you will have to use the ifup method if you have to have access to an access point that is hidden. This has been an off and on problem with KNetworkmanager. It's been reported, if I remember correctly, but no fix has come down the pipe yet. Oh, and as far as I know this doesn't just apply to the Intel WIFI chipsets.
