You could just go to the packman site and grab his latest version for SuSE. It's gkrellm-2.1.12-0.pm.0. I know it's not the absolute latest and greatest but it does work. :) http://packman.links2linux.de/ -- Ben Rosenberg ---===---===---===--- mailto:ben@whack.org ----------------------------------------------------------- The IQ and the life expectancy of the average American recently passed each other going in the opposite direction.

Why bother going there, the one on the SuSE DVD works just fine.... -- _____________________________________ John Andersen

Not quite fine - in the version on th discs, the options to not appear in the GNOME pager & tasklist aren't correctly picked up when you start GKrellM, and you have to manually enable them each time (the config file is written correctly, but read incorrectly) This is fixed in the version on PackMan's site, and there have been many other bug fixes in the intervening time (there have been seven releases between the version in 8.2 and that on PM's site.) -- James Ogley, Webmaster, Rubber Turnip james@rubberturnip.org.uk http://www.rubberturnip.org.uk Jabber: riggwelter@myjabber.net Using Free Software since 1994, running GNU/Linux (SuSE 8.2). Looks like usr-local-bin.org needs a new download entry on the site. :) -- Ben Rosenberg ---===---===---===--- mailto:ben@whack.org ----------------------------------------------------------- The IQ and the life expectancy of the average American recently passed each other going in the opposite direction.

Ah, well then, thats why i didn't notice any deficiency - I don't use gnome. Works just fine in KDE. -- _____________________________________ John Andersen
