[SLE] RealPlayerG2 hangs up after a couple seconds
Hi, I've just got my system upgraded from 6.2 to 6.3 and updated all the major software packages with Yast. I've gotten my SB AWE/32 working (A little tricky, but not bad) I found a copy of Real's RealPlayerG2 for Linux at http://proforma.real.com/real/player/linuxplayer.html and have installed it. Unfortuneately, it only plays a real file for a couple of seconds before it just hangs up. Has anyone had success getting realplayerG2 working correctly? It is running for me, at least it says g2 at the bottom. Only problem I have is that it quits playing the stream and i have to pause and restart it. Anybody know the solution to this. Happens to me at work too, running in WinNT. It looks like some imcompatiblity with my.mp3.com and realaudio. Works great with xmms. The realplayer will play my mp3's, just not of my.mp3.com. I thought it was just my system but when I play a real audio format file or an mp3 or a streaming site it hangs for a couple seconds. Strange thing is it hangs 10seconds into a media file and then 2seconds later starts again.
