Why can't we order SuSE Linux from the website if you're living outside Germany??? SuSE has a nice website, which promotes their SuSE Linux , SuSE Linux Database server, SuSE Firewall,... perfect business solutions...;;but you can't order it through the website! Isn't this quite stupid? Where do you live? If you live in the USA you can order through www.suse.com - if you live in the UK of Republic of Ireland you can order through www.suse.co.uk I think the reason for any restrictions is about shipping issues and costs (I don't know the details of this stuff, I work on the technical side). One reason why it is very difficult for e-commerce companies to distribute internationally is that they need the competence to understand the import/export taxes of both countries to do so. I ran into the same problem with 7.3 when I moved to the Netherlands from Germany last year. It was frustrating at first but SuSE's web page has a distributor list that can show you probably a dozen mail order sites you can order from. I did that and had my copy in two days. Still, it does sacrifice some convenience. When I lived in Germany I got a mailing direct from SuSE prior to the release of each version with a discounted price offer. Kind of bites when you have to go back to ordering it the traditional way. JHS
