[SLE] SLED 10 and multimedia files
Hi all, After some time trying to go ahead with a Open SuSE 10.1 installation I've subscribed SLED 10 hoping it will help me to softer start in this, for me, new Linux arena. Well, it seems it solves some problems, but a number of other issues remain unsolved. First of all, please, does this list also deal with SLED 10 issues? If yes, please, does anybody manage to play AVI, WMV or MPEG files with Totem? I've downloaded and copied the content of the MPlayer essential codecs package to /user/lib/codecs but Totem keeps claiming that I've no decoder installed for this codecs. Thanks you for your help, Ricardo -- Ricardo Rodríguez XEN, Resources Management -- Check the headers for your unsubscription address For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the archives at http://lists.suse.com Please read the FAQs: suse-linux-e-faq@suse.com
