-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi all, Tomorrow my ISP will be installing a system at my house which relays via radio to my system instaed of having to use dial up modem. The only thing coming into my house will be the connector to the nic card and I want to be sure that I will be able to do this with SuSE. What is the best way to accomplish this so that i will be able to use the services that I now have with the dial-up. TIA David -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.1 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQE/AJYx3VVncqMjOZsRAtaVAJ4oflrMAMC9r2lLs7XEE8Tp0m5LuACfbAvp mPVMvdAcXCcWvGzKFAyT8gY= =D5lp -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
Need more information about the "device" and what it does to tell you
exactly.
Regards,
Mike Wafkowski

Hello Mike, The device is an antenna with attached transciever that relays through a tower to my ISP. It then coonects to my computor via eth0 allowing a full time connection. I have the gateway, IP, Subnet numbers. Thanks David -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.1 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQE/AJ8L3VVncqMjOZsRArvKAJ4y8nxcRAcIOZrFa/Xzy40tQgryAgCZAeY/ xfF1EgHymRBpLdC4jetuAug= =uqQD -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
With the eth card, gateway, IP, subnet, etc. it sounds like it will just be
a straightforward IP network connection with the device handling the other
stuff and you should be good to go.
Regards,
Mike Wafkowski
