Hello, folks! I have just yesterday installed the dmsdos package that allows you to mount DoubleSpace (1/2), DriveSpace (3) and Stacker (3/4) partitions in Linux and after finally having read the right documentation fist (and consequently reinstalled the kernel half a dozen times ;)) it works beutifully, so I would like to see it integrated into S.u.S.E. Linux 5.3 for easier co-exsistance with Win95/98 and other Compressed DOS volumes. It can be found here: <A HREF="ftp://fb9nt.uni-duisburg.de/pub/linux/dmsdos"><A HREF="ftp://fb9nt.uni-duisburg.de/pub/linux/dmsdos</A">ftp://fb9nt.uni-duisburg.de/pub/linux/dmsdos And it would be great if it could come as a precompiled module and applied patch to the kernel. It's not much that needs to be done, and I guess RPM could take care of the patching? Then, an easy setup interface in YaST, and of couse filesystem loopback support on as default would pretty much do it!
