But again, then I would not be able to post problem free here. I just do not receive anything.

Well, I did this. it has to be a configuration issue on the list side. When I opened a ticket in admin@opensuse.org (as this is regarding all mailing-lists not only this one, the confirmation mail and the post once you edit it you receive it instantly. But trying to register a new different email from freemail (entirely different name) does not work, the confirmation letter never arrives. So all but admin@opensuse.org bounces at freenet. Given the size of that mailer, it would be good to know why. --- Alle Postfächer an einem Ort. I don't think they bounce, I don't they're sent at all. 15 minutes ago I sent a subscribe message, I have not seen a reply yet. -- Per Jessen, Zürich (12.2°C) http://www.hostsuisse.com/ - virtual servers, made in Switzerland. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

This is likely caused by greylisting. The server that sent the reply to my subscribe request was 195.135.221.135 - this maps to "lists.opensuse.org", but when you look that up, it's "195.135.221.150". Poor reverse DNS setup which is likely to cause email problems. -- Per Jessen, Zürich (12.6°C) http://www.hostsuisse.com/ - dedicated server rental in Switzerland. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
