I tried using the Themes applet in Gnome to install some new icons. It created new directories in ~/.themes for every set I installed, but I can't see any of them in the applet to choose. Is this broken? Thanks, dk P.S. Come on Ximian!

Indeed. I moved the directories the GUI created from ~/.themes to ~/.icons, and I could pick them from the list. Are you building the next version of ULB on 9.1 against Gnome 2.4 or 2.6? dk

2.4, since it's still a drop-in replacement for SuSE-supplied components. -- James Ogley, Webmaster, Rubber Turnip james@rubberturnip.org.uk http://www.rubberturnip.org.uk Jabber: riggwelter@myjabber.net Using Free Software since 1994, running GNU/Linux (SuSE 9.0) GNOME updates for SuSE: http://www.usr-local-bin.org

Just for completeness, where should metacity and gkt2 themes be put? (It may be an obvious question, but I'm missing the obvious answer if so.) Thanks, dk
