libgfx_gtk.so failed xfree86 4.1.0
I know there is a file to download, but it was under a bad heading earlier as I could not find it. How do I fix it as neither Netscape 6.1 nor Mozilla load. Here is the error message: nsNativeComponentLoader: SelfRegisterDll(/usr/local/netscape/components/libgfx_gtk.so) Load FAILED with error: shared object not open Matt -- "The only thing complex about Linux are the users themselves."

Mine came as a part of the Netscape rpm; it is in /usr/local/netscape/components. Got it, Had do the libXIE install followed by ldconfig again (in fact did it twice until it took). Matt -- "The only thing complex about Linux are the users themselves." On Sun, 17 Jun 2001, Ed Harrison wrote:

I fixed it by building Mozilla 0.9.1 from source. Worked perfectly. However, I then reverted to XFree 4.0.3 anyway because of annoying display bugs in konqueror (possibly fixed with QT 2.3.1?) -- Rachel
