[opensuse] Firefox 3.5 mailto: broke
I've update to the firefox 3.5 version found at http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/mozilla/openSUSE_11.1 mailto links no longer respond. I've dbl checked the network.protocol-handler.app.mailto it's set correct and other obvious settings mailto will not work. Anyone else run into this ? If so have a fix ? Thanks, Tony -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Try going in Edit/Preferences/Applications. In the search box type "mailto", and see what action is selected. -- Svetoslav Milenov (Sunny) Even the most advanced equipment in the hands of the ignorant is just a pile of scrap. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
Sunny: Thanks !!! That fixed it, was set to default, I changed to my email program (thunderbird) and it works. I wonder if default is KDE default or from about:config or elsewhere Thanks, Tony Sunny wrote:

"default" is read from gconf AFAIK. So if you set Thunderbird from its own preferences as default handler it should have appeared in Firefox automatically. Wolfgang -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

I would set it with gconf-editor. But I've just tried and it doesn't work. I'm not quite sure what's wrong unfortunately. Wolfgang -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

I also tried with negative results... :^( -- Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA HOG # US1244711 http://wahoo.no-ip.org Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/gallery2 Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://counter.li.org -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
