i am using suse 6.4 already installed kde2, what will happend to kde2 when i upgrade to suse 7
Depending on how you installed KDE2. If you used RPMs, just tell YaST to only update newer packages. If you installed them from source, nothing should happen, since YaST/RPM do not know about KDE2. Just make sure, that you don't have KDE2 RPMs installed, since YaST will attempt to upgrade them. This is a general hint: if you use a newer version of a program that you installed from source without using RPM, make sure you have removed the old RPM package first.
