Where has the list of patch mirrors gone in 10.1? Up to 10.0, YOU would give a list of update servers to use, now one is automatically being set. A friend is having problems with the auto-selected mirror giving errors with the Kernel update and timing out on other packages. There doesn't seem to be a way to select anoter patch mirror from YOU, and searching the Wiki, I can't find any patch servers... Do we now just choose another internet install server and the patches get stuck in there? I can find mirror lists for upgraded version, enhanced version, packman, guru etc. but doing a search doesn't list any patch servers... -- David Wright "I got to go figure," the tenant said. A new patch mirror is added everytime you run Yast2 / Software / Online Update Configuration. I found that simply adding a new YUM server often does not resolve the problem. I need to delete the server that is hanging. Then the patching works again. Carlos FL

Argh! Having used YaST for 5 years, I never look at the names or for new icons, I missed that one :-D I was so used to having the selection of a server in YOU, that it just didn't register that it had been taken out and put into its own icon :-P Thanks Carlos. (Sorry Carlos, didn't see that the original reply went directly to you ;-) ) -- David Wright "I got to go figure," the tenant said. "We all got to figure. There's some way to stop this.
