Hello list. Do I missed this package or is it not included in openSUSE 10.1 distro? Regards. -- Dominik --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
I second that. I'd love to have LogWatch in openSUSE 10.1 or later. It's the only program that I miss after migrating away from Fedora Core 4, and it's very useful to see what happened on the previous day as a summary every morning. So, it looks like logwatch is not included in 10.1 distro. It's a pity. Regards. -- Dominik --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
But I think that it can be downloaded & installed by YaST?

Yes, it's a pity:-( You may try the one from here:
http://software.opensuse.org/download/home:/mge1512/
As it is "noarch", the package from Factory should work
everywhere:-)
so long -

Hey guys, don't know if you need a non-gui program or not, but have you looked at "kwatch" (gui) for doing the same thing? It's very handy at alerting and can monitor several logs, which the user specifies. There may also be some non-gui programs to do the same, just do a search in yast2. Also, check on Packman's sites.
