Hello (oh, it's him again, what does *he* want) The other day I downloaded the Samba-2.0.6-*rpm for my SuSE 6.1 system. Owing to a disk space shortage I got rid of the old 2.0.5 rpm as soon as I was certain the client was able to talk to the server. But, horror of horrors - Win9x roaming profile support in 2.0.6 is badly broken; it copies all the windows profile directories straight into your home directory on the server and doesn't obey the "logon path" directive in /etc/smb.conf. I have no alternative but to do a "reverse upgrade". Anyhoo...the samba-2.0.5a-*.i386.rpm update is not SuSE's ftp site any more, and the 2.0.3 on my CD contains a few irritating known bugs. My question is this: is anyone here able to put the old 2.0.5 rpm up on an ftp or web site temporarily? I just know there are thousands of you desparate to find something useful to do with your free 5MB :o) -- rclark@virgosolutions.demon.co.uk Ralph Clark, Virgo Solutions Ltd (UK) __ _ / / (_)__ __ ____ __ * Powerful * Flexible * Compatible * Reliable * / /__/ / _ \/ // /\ \/ / *Well Supported * Thousands of New Users Every Day* /____/_/_//_/\_,_/ /_/\_\ The Cost Effective Choice - Linux Means Business! -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/
