I actually like some of the KDE themes and of course I use the theme manager. Has anyone else noticed that switching between themes sometimes leaves residuals from a previous theme ? This really looks bad especially when using the LCARS, Matrix, or MacOS themes. Is there a fix for this or do I just have to live with it. And b4 I start a windowmanager war I also use windowmaker & enlightenment. Thanks, Ian BTW I don't even try themes with enlightenment anymore. When I was running KDE I ran into this. You can fix the odd theme icons and such by simply deleting the copy that the theme manager puts into your personal kde directories. If I remember right ~/.kde/shared/icons . . .etc. They will still be on your system where the theme manager stores them and by deleting the copies your icons will switch back to the default icons on the next login. I read somewhere (I think on themes.org) that you could write a script to clean this for you, so you might check there to see if someone has posted a script and it might save you some work. I would have written one myself, but I switched away from KDE to another window manager. . .sorry. -- ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Darren R. You have to do the cleanup manually, unfortunately. Go to your .kde/share/icons and delete the icons, except your Star Office icons if you have installed SO. On 16-Dec-99 Ian M. Moore wrote:
