[opensuse] DVD +Suse 10.2 +K3b
When I insert empty dual layer DVD into the drive, and the automounter comes up with the following error. Method "Mount" with signature "ssas" on interface "org.freedesktop.Hal.Device.Volume" doesn't exist If I opens with K3b, everything seems to go OK until it gets to the point for actually writing the image, it asks to insert blank DVD. The thing is, I copied one DVD with no problem, then this. Tried 3 other empty new DVD's of the same type that did work with no luck. Any sugestions?/ Art -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Hard drives are sata, DVD drive is IDE Benq 1680. The DVD drive is /dev/hdd. I also have Sony DVD drive of the same type, /dev/hda, but it does the same thing. I can write it single layer DVD, but have nevery used double layer before, however, I did copy one dual layer dvd with no problem. Art On Sun, 2007-03-04 at 06:53 -0700, Teruel de Campo MD wrote:
