[opensuse] Differential SCSI HBA Support
Does SuSE, specifically, 10.0 Pro, support differential SCSI HBAs such as the Adaptec AHA-2944UW or AHA-3940UW or AHA-3944UW? The HCL has no SCSI HBAs at all in it ! All the Adaptec AHA-294x and AHA-394x series are fully supported in the base distribution (the aic7xxx driver module). The single-ended, LVD or differential aspect of the bus is not "visible" to the OS. -Ti -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Really? I haven't been able to get end of media sensing to work since 9.3. -- _____________________________________ John Andersen -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Yes, no problem. I've used the 3944UW once or twice. /Per Jessen, Zürich -- http://www.spamchek.com/ - managed email security. Starting at SFr1/month/user. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
