Hi, I have a problem when I use KDE: the screen gets dark suddenly and it requires to entry password, sometimes it returned to KDE after enter the passwords, but in most cases it stoped there. Does anyone have the same problem? Best, Frederic -- To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e

No, but what beta version are you running? I use beta 4, and have never experienced this problem, so it might be a remenant of something they scrapped a while back. -- Aaron Seelye <A HREF="http://revolution.3-cities.com/~roberto"><A HREF="http://revolution.3-cities.com/~roberto</A">http://revolution.3-cities.com/~roberto -- To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e

That is beta 3, i think, but, as many people have said, it is the screensaver that is giving you problems.

Beta 3 gave me numerous hangs, but a simple (thanks to YaST) upgrade to
Beta 4 has made my GUI rock solid!

Hi, thanks to everyone replied to my question with KDE's screensaver, now I have re-configurated it and the lockscreen problem worked out. Best, Frederic - To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e

Also known as "screen saver"...
requires to entry password, sometimes it returned to KDE after enter the passwords, but in most cases it stoped there.

Never had a problem with it... maybe it helps if you change the screen saver settings or as a work-around, disable the screen saver completely. HihO...
I have a problem when I use KDE: the screen gets dark suddenly and it requires to entry password, sometimes it returned to KDE after enter the passwords,
then the screen saver with password option or the lock screen function was activated...
but in most cases it stoped there.
that should not be...moving the mouse and typing the password should work... o far... -- To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e
