Hi!, I'm currently running apache 1.3.14 on Suse 7.2, and I would like to upgrade to apache 1.3.22 or latest release at the time. I have downloaded 1.3.22 and done all the necessary things to compile it. But before I compile I make sure I have everything I need. But I have some questions. 1) Should I uninstall the apache 1.3.14 rpm? 2) Are there any other rpms that I should uninstall? 3) If I were to configure it with the command below would it work properly and have everything installed in the right place like it should? ./configure --show-layout --sbindir=/usr/sbin --bindir=/usr/bin --sysconfdir=/etc/httpd --iconsdir=/usr/local/httpd/icons --htdocsdir=/usr/local/httpd/htdocs --cgidir=/usr/local/httpd/cgi-bin --includedir=/usr/include/apache --logfiledir=/var/logs/httpd --libexecdir=/usr/lib/apache --mandir=/usr/share/man --with-perl=/usr/bin/perl --with-port=80 --enable-suexec --suexec-docroot=/usr/local/httpd/htdocs --suexec-logfile-/var/logs/httpd/suexec_log Yet I would like all modules to be compile in it do, does this mean I have to enable every one? Any quick way of going about this? Thanks, Brandon Caudle -------------- 15yr Old Avid Unix User (HP-UX,FreeBSD,Linux) Larkhaven Golf Course Charlotte, NC "There cannot be a crisis next week.
