I am finally getting where I want my SUSE system, and I am finally going to set up a small game (98 or XP) machine on another pc. I installed but haven't set up Clamav yet (no time till next week) but was wondering whether this just scans the Linux system (making the need for a Samba Server) or wether I can use it to scan a Windows box, over the lan? Thanks Randal

If you share all the data you want scanned, and smbmount those on your Linux box, clamav can deal with it over the network. Alternatively, I believe there is a Windows version of ClamAV. /Per Jessen, Zürich
