[opensuse] 13.1/GNOME 3.10 - how to disable screen lock on resume?
I do not need it. This is single user notebook staying at home all the time. Swipe up gesture is awkward to perform using small touchpad I have and requires two hands. Screen lock is already disabled everywhere I could find - but it still pops up on resume. Of course it was correctly disabled before in 12.3 ... but who cares? That's usability improvement in 3.10 as I read ... I give up. I spent half a day trying to make the most user friendly desktop environment to behave the way *I* want it. No way. I was rather amused to find all those google references about great improvements in new 3.10 while searching for answer ... Not wanting to start a rant, but before I also found that GNOME developers assume everyone *MUST* want to have two-finger tap acting as right click. I had been using it as middle click for years ... no way - it is not even configurable via obscure undocumented key - it is hardcoded. The only way to "fix" it is to stop using GNOME to configure mouse ... So just feeling frustrated. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
