[opensuse] Eclipse IDE not working in 10.3
It seems that Eclipse installed from openSuSE 10.3 repositories does not work on my Athlon64. Has anyone found a solution to this? Below is the error message I receive when launching Eclipse: JVM terminated. Hi,
It seems that Eclipse installed from openSuSE 10.3 repositories does not work on my Athlon64. Has anyone found a solution to this? To get rid of your bug you have to install java 1.6. But have a look at bugzilla.novell.com there are several bugs about eclipse at the moment. That make it close to unusable at the moment.

You should ask in the factory list, as you are using/testing the Beta version. - -- Cheers, Carlos E. What is Eclipse, and why should I need to know? --doug -- Blessed are the peacemakers ... for they shall be shot at from both sides. --A.M. Greeley -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Eclipse - if you haven't been following my IDE rants - is a development tool for programming in languages such as Java. It is supported by IBM. http://www.eclipse.org/ My only gripe about them is the lack of a visual GUI builder. They are very similar to other products such as Netbeans, JBuilder, -- kai ponte www.perfectreign.com -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
