Well, I think its a postfix problem! I have recently set up virus
scanning for my email with amavisd-new and antivir: warning messages
should come to virusalert@localhost (aliased to der@localhost in YaST).
However, /var/log/mail shows the following errors:

Thanks - that was it. Amavis was trying to email virusalert@domain instead of virusalert@host.domain David
