Hi all, im having a nasty problem with my server. It's a NAS 1200 with a 2.4 Ghz processor and a terabyte of memory. However, it keeps hanging every so often (about 3-4 hourly) and shows 100% CPU usage. It's a crucial server and needs to be fully active all the time and yet whenever it does this, I have to restart it and it's becoming abit too often. Any help on this issue is welcome. o ~ o ~ o ~ o ~ o ~ o ~ o ~ o ~ o ~ o ~ o ~ o ~ o ~ o Paul Ikanza Systems Administrator New Vision Printing & Publishing Corporation email: mailto:pikanza@newvision.co.ug pikanza@newvision.co.ug, mailto:jikpaul@yahoo.com jikpaul@yahoo.com

Most if not all of us don't have a crystal ball so you will need to supply more info. What version of SuSE and what services is the server providing. -- Ken Schneider UNIX since 1989 SuSE since 1998 * Only reply to the list please*
