[opensuse] trying to play audio from linux to windows using pulse
Found instructions to setup the win side and binaries. For the linux side I was to set the PULSE_SERVER. But now can' find a music player that will work with it. xmms2d with a xmms2-plugin-pulse looked promising, but xmms2d can't start. It gives an error message: xmms2d INFO: ../src/xmms/log.c:49: Initialized logging system :) 22:50:55 ERROR: ../src/xmms/ipc.c:862: Couldn't setup IPC listening on 'unix:///tmp/xmms-ipc-Bliss\law'. 22:50:55 FATAL: ../src/xmms/main.c:540: IPC failed to init! So why can't it create a socket on linux -- maybe it isn't quoting the backslash? My login is law, but if it is prepending the domain name, that would give it Bliss\law. Has anyone gotten music to play from linux to a winbox? Is this doable?
