Donovan, Firstly my apologies for the delayed reply. The URL above is invalid to me...not sure why but no matter. I only want to use the Yast interface for the creating of a SAMBA Server and nothing else for two reasons....Firstly to get this to work functionally for me and secondly if I cant achieve this via the Yast interface I want to clearly bug report it. Functionally I need to share info between my LAN and my WIFI LCD/LED TV/ MS Windows 7 PC's; for movie and music and image sharing from my file server...My SONY connects to my LAN no issue but cannot see my Linux LAN, only other MS PC's. I cannot get my Linux LAN to be both accessible and visible to my Windows & PC's let alone share content with my TV. Yes all devices are on the same LAN and netmask and I have no firewall issues as all are behind hardware security. I know how to drive windows 7 easy...but the GUI Yast SAMBA Server running on my file Server is just not visible. I think a pic would help enormously in this case also I don’t know what to do with the various relevant components in KDE's System Setup
