In the following two use cases I have to deactivate SuSEfirewall2, because otherwise the connection fails: 1. Streaming from Chrome browser on PC to Chromecast device attached to TV 2. Browsing MythTV media on PC from smartphone with a DLNA client The log file shows that the ports are nearly random, so single ports or small ranges are not enough. I may allow full access (all ports) from the smartphone and from Chromecast using MAC or IP address, but I do not fully trust the two devices. What is the preferred solution?
