Hello, I am trying to get my SB1024 to work, and I get the subject of this message as a response in the messages file. I think this was discussed here a while back, but I cannot seem to find any copy of the messages in my archives. Hints ? -- Regards Cliff
Cliff, If you cat /proc/pci it will list all the PCI devices found on your motherboard and the IRQ that has been assigned to them, Through a little investigative work I was able to find that mine was on IRQ 5. Hope this helps. Austin Morgan On Sun, Sep 23, 2001 at 09:48:11PM +0200, Cliff Sarginson wrote:

Solved my own problem. Falling into sleep last night that magic incantation came to me When using linux turn off plug and play in the bios. So I did. And my speakers now speak to me in many tongues. But they still won't play my Anouk CD...that is the next problem. Cliff
