I had the same problem with the new QT. Also have you notced any freezes in Konqui when you do a split screen usually on a large dirrectory? My Konqui would freeze like no end and I would usually have to restart it. David M. On Monday 17 December 2001 04:51 pm, you wrote:

Since last night my mouse has intermittantly had the tendency to freeze/lock up for about a second or two every minute or so. I have change some permissions in some of the files in /usr and dl'ed the new version of the nVidia kernel package offered via YOU. It's quit annoying! I move my mouse in the gui or in programs, games, etc... and it just stops of a second, then goes back to normal behavior. Anyone have an Idea about this. Here's a snip of my XF86Config file, in case that is of some use:
Section "Module" Load "type1" Load "speedo" Load "extmod" Load "freetype" Load "record" Load "glx" # Load "v4l" # Load "dbe" EndSection
Section "InputDevice" Driver "keyboard" Identifier "Keyboard[0]" Option "AutoRepeat" "500 30" Option "LeftAlt" "Meta" Option "Protocol" "Standard" Option "RightAlt" "Meta" Option "RightCtl" "Control" Option "ScrollLock" "Compose" Option "XkbLayout" "us" Option "XkbModel" "pc105" Option "XkbRules" "xfree86" EndSection
Section "InputDevice" Driver "mouse" Identifier "Mouse[1]" Option "ButtonNumber" "5" Option "Device" "/dev/psaux" Option "InputFashion" "Mouse" Option "Name" "MOUSEMAN WHEEL" Option "Protocol" "imps/2" Option "Vendor" "LOGITECH" Option "ZAxisMapping" "4 5" EndSection
