I'm attempting to install a Red Hat RPM on SUSE 10. However, it requires pygtk2, to install. I've currently got pygtk installed. Is anyone aware of a pygtk2 for SUSE? tnx jk

Jim, I'll tell you what you probably already know and that is, it's not a good idea to mix rpms from different distros. Small problems, big problems. You are likely to have a bit of both. It would be better to get the source and compile your own rpm for SUSE. regards, Lee

I'll have to see if I can find the source then. I'm sure someone at work has it. It's just a matter of finding out who. BTW, it's James, not Jim.

What program is it? You can probably find it on packman.

The package is "ThinkPad Linux Configurator" and I'd be suprised if it's on packman, since it's still IBM internal only.
According to pin, the package RH calls pygtk2 is named python-gtk on SUSE. -- Homepage http://scottj.org XFce desktop environment http://www.xfce.org

It's already installed on my ThinkPad.
