With DVDs it was never a real problem though. Not around here anyway, you'd just walk into a Mediamarkt, pick a DVD player and the instructions for disabling the region-check would be included. -- Per Jessen, Zürich (6.6°C) http://www.dns24.ch/ - free DNS hosting, made in Switzerland. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

Nice for you. Bear in mind that we're in the land where legislators are bought and sold, and nobody has as much money as Hollywood. My computer is technically illegal if I put vlc on it, and the Lords would shut down Mediamarkt in seconds if they did that here. And have Samsung, Toshiba, etc. banned if they openly provided such intstructions. jp -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
