Hi, I'm trying to install the Linux version of Skype (www.skype.org) on SuSE9.1 (updated last night) According to Yast, Qt is installed. I get the following error: Airbus@linux:~/Documents> rpm -i skype-0.90.0.4-1.i386.rpm error: Failed dependencies: qt >= 3.2 is needed by skype-0.90.0.4-1 Airbus@linux:~/Documents> Which version of qt does SuSE 9.1 use? Thanks Nico

According to Yast, Qt is installed.
I get the following error:

Which version of qt does SuSE 9.1 use?
Thanks
Nico

It uses the correct version, but suse calls it qt3 instead of just qt so rpm doesn't know it's the same. Use "rpm -i --nodeps" to install skype
