RE: [SLE] ANNOUNCE: KDE2 Prealpha binary's for 02282000 available
I'm getting "File not found" on all the .tgzs On Monday, February 28, 2000 2:45 PM, Christopher Molnar [SMTP:molnarc@nebsllc.com] wrote:
A new version of the KDE ALPHA binaries are available at nebsllc.com. Please read the README file in the same directory.
These binaries are built from CVS as of 28 February 2000 at 8am Eastern Standard Time (-0500). Korganzier has been merged with kdepim so korganizer package is no longer present. Abbrowser did not compile so it is not in the kdepim package.
There has been an update to the qt-copy and you will need to get a new version. The experiment with the small version of qt-copy did not work, so we are back to one version.
These files are available via ftp from:
ftp://ftp.nebsllc.com/kde2/current
or via http at:
http://www.nebsllc.com (follow links for kde2 Alpha binaries)
You will also be able to find these at:
http://www.htw-dresden.de/~s2697
The installs have been tested by me on a RedHat 6.1 machine. They have also been reported to work on all other distributions.
If you are running prior Alpha's I highly recommend you update. There are a lot of fixes and some structural changes in the packages.
You will also find Source tar.gz's in the same directory.
