Hello, When, I use my smartphone (Xiaomi Redmi Notes 9S) vertically, the resulting video file have an internal tag "rotation" that validates this orientation. but often, beginning and ending of the video are unusable (for example wrong orientation at the beginning corrected after some seconds), so I have to cut the bad part. I use avidemux in copy mode, extremely fast. but (2) avidemux remove the rotation tag and the resulting video is now horizontal I know how to rotate a video with handbrake or ffmpeg, but with recoding, long and quality loss prone. How can I just keep the rotation tag or add it to the final video? THANKS JDD -- http://dodin.org

I found myself a solution with exiftools like: exiftool -rotation=270 VID_20210718_110005_edit-v.mp4 thanks jdd -- http://dodin.org
