So... a holiday Monday finds me with some idle time. I started playing about with my SuSE8.2 install, and discovered that I can play streaming media with MPlayer 0.90 (compiled version not the SuSEified one). I just never thought to try it before because I use Crossover Plugin and WMP6.4. If I know the URL of the media stream (internet radio for example) I can copy it into the Load URL window of MPlayer and it works fine. But.... if a website uses javascript to control their site, and embeds the mms link in the script, is there any way to redirect that to MPlayer? This isn't something as simple as file associations in Konqueror... C.

Also, the fine folks at <http://packman.links2linux.de/> appear to have just added an RPM for it. --Jerry -- Open-Source software isn't a matter of life or death... ...It's much more important than that!
Hi folks, I've problems with a slow printing on Compaq's Servers using the parallel port; I've told to use the command: tunelp /dev/lp0 -i 7 but I got the message: ioctl: invalid argument /dev/lp0 using IRQ -1 Digging around, I found some messages were the tunelp command isn't supported on kernels 2.4; is this true? how can I overcome/solve the slow printing if I can't assign the IRQ 7? PD: I checked the Compaq's BIOS and the LPT1 port does uses the IRQ 7!!, also I checked the /proc/interrupts file and the IRQ 7 is unused. Thanks in advance, Jean H//
KMPlayer does it nicely with Konqueror. For other browsers, you'll need to use MPlayer Plug-in (Jerry's mail). Op maandag 9 juni 2003 15:53, schreef Clayton Cornell:
