Hi all: Recently started using Mozilla for my web browser, and like it's speed and stability. But one thing that's really bugging me is the fact that I can't get to any FTP sites. The ftp site I'm trying to get to (stew.sdsu.edu) requires a particular username and password, but when I send Mozilla there, it immediately reports that my "username and password are invalid", and doesn't give me a prompt window to enter the real username/password (like Konqueror and every other browser does on the very same machine). And no, trying to login as "Anonymous/password@somewhere.com" won't cut it. I've dug through the Mozilla options menus already -- what the heck am I missing here...? //TB
I believe 'ftp://user@ftp.somename.net/' should give a password window. Op maandag 9 juni 2003 18:01, schreef bis9170@cox.net:
