[opensuse] Daylight Savings Time
With the upcoming change to Daylight Savings Time here in the United States, is openSuSE 10.2 already prepared for it? Is there any patch or update that will be made available as the time approaches? Rick -- Rick's Law: What cannot be imagined will be accomplished by a fool. PGP Key Id: 9E1125E0

I'm planning on using AutoKai (tm) to update my system clocks - as well as the ones in my cars and my microwave - in March. -- kai - theperfectreign@yahoo.com www.perfectreign.com || www.4thedadz.com www.filesite.org || www.donutmonster.com wo ist der ort für den ehrlichsten kuss ich weiss, dass ich ihn für uns finden muss... -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Are you using version 1.0? I've been told AutoKai version 1.0 has lots of bugs. Best to skip that and wait for the next release. -- _____________________________________ John Andersen

What? Have you been talking to my wife??

Unfortunately, I was told AutoKai was a one-off Non-OSS project. Apparently the code repository is long gone. We're stuck at 1.0 unfortunately., -- kai - theperfectreign@yahoo.com www.perfectreign.com || www.4thedadz.com www.filesite.org || www.donutmonster.com wo ist der ort für den ehrlichsten kuss ich weiss, dass ich ihn für uns finden muss... -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Yes, 10.0 had it already. You can check yourself with the command zdump -v US/Central That outputs all DST changes. For names of other timezones in the US/, you need to look at the directory /usr/share/zoneinfo/US/; zdump actually outputs information from these files.
