Try loading "rtl8192se". Bit of a wild guess. -- Per Jessen, Zürich (11.9°C) http://www.dns24.ch/ - free dynamic DNS, made in Switzerland. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

This is PCI driver. USB driver is apparently rtl8192cu, but it does not list this vendor/product (even on TW). This vendor ID is actually mediatek and there is mt7601u in current TW kernel but it does not list this product either. The driver seems to be available on vendor site as http://www.mediatek.com/en/downloads1/downloads/mt7610u-usb/. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

Ah, I completely ignored that.

I'm going to try compiling the driver on the mini CD and see if that works. There is a .sh script that's supposed to handle that task. -- Ken Schneider SuSe since Version 5.2, June 1998 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

There are six 8192 modules and none of them recognize the mini adapter. Short of other ideas... As I just got it from Amazon I'm going to send it back and get a different make/model. -- Ken Schneider SuSe since Version 5.2, June 1998 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
