Now that configure runs OK, what's next??? There's an install-sh command, but it wants some input file. What file?
you did make followed by make install.
you will need to do a mkdir /usr/local/etc When you run wificonfig it will want the locations of 2 filles pkill and dhcpcd. one is in /sbin the other is in /usr/bin.

Well, it appears OK now. I'll just have to give it a try now and see how it goes. Here's a URL to an RPM of it, to save others all the "fun" I've had. I hope it works OK. <http://ca.f2.pg.briefcase.yahoo.com/bc/james.knott@rogers.com/vwp2?.tok=bc0b0aVBPynRLmvC&.dir=/WiFiconfig&.dnm=wificonfig-0.2-1.i386.rpm&.src=bc> tnx jk

Here's a better link. Hold the shift key, when you click on it. <http://us.f2.yahoofs.com/bc/40fc17d7_117c7/bc/WiFiconfig/wificonfig-0.2-1.i386.rpm?BC5u0nCBX7mmXBZh>

That may not be such a hot idea. I've noticed that wificonfig often locks up my keyboard.
