I have a similar problem. I have a mini-hdmi (or micro ??) and a dvi port on the box and could not get the dpi to work on a converter to hdmi, found the cable converter was faulty. Try another cable. gud luk, -- (paka)Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA @ptilopteri http://en.opensuse.org openSUSE Community Member facebook/ptilopteri http://wahoo.no-ip.org Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/gallery2 Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://linuxcounter.net -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

It looks like a faulty wire. It is not making consistent connection ( on-off). Verify cable and/or adapter is fully inserted. If you have the same outcome. You should try another cable and adapter.
