It is true you do bring very good news at times Richard :) Good decision -- wherever it came from. 42.3 is a very solid and enjoyable release :) -- David C. Rankin, J.D.,P.E. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

I totally agree, this makes my life a lot easier. But why? Is it something to do with Leap 15? Regards, Lew -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

It's nothing to do with Leap 15 - I'm no longer going to be running Leap 42.3 even with this extended support, 15 is wonderful for my needs But SLE 12 SP3 has a support period that made it feasible for SUSE to give us a few months extra support for their part on Leap 42.3, so we figured out how we could continue support for a Leap release when it's base system is still under support by SUSE without causing too much extra work for everyone involved.
