[SLE] missing email message bodies
Hi, I've run into a problem with the mail list. It is sporadic. Once a week maybe? Apparently one of the hundred or so suse-linux-e messages loses it's message body as it's being sent. This results in a "hanged download" when I try to download the list mail. Netscape or xfmail will "stall" on the message without error, and the mail download needs to be cancelled. I then need to get a list of headers and delete the first email , which dosn't have a body, thereby allowing normal download to resume. Has anyone else experienced the problem? I'm trying to track down where the loss is occuring. If no one else experienced this, then it must be in my local ISP's problem. Please say something to alleviate my paranoia over this. :-) -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/

Probably something along that line: I use fetchmail to get my mail from my ISP. after that I press the getMail button in netscape to load it into netscape. every now and then I view empty mails, no body nothing. Even when I delete them, they stay unread in my deleted folder. I can however access them with pine, there they appear fine. Another recent problem are HTML mails send by "M$ Outhouse 5.0". As soon as I press reply I sit in front of an empty desktop. Those people obviously doesn't want an answer <grin>, even on linux questions. Juergen
