yep. with 'O' you can read your muttrc, with 'E' you ignore the already existing swap file, with 'R' you can recover a crashed vi session and with 'D'..... yes. You delete the existing swap file. Vi will create a new one. VI(M) RULEZ!!!

When you were working on the file the last time you opened it up it was not closed properly with vi. So when you opened up the file again you have this error. If you go in and delete .muttrc.swp and then go ahead and reopen the file vi .muttrc everything should be fine again.
And that is what the "(D)elete it:" command would do? I want to make sure I am not deleting my .muttrc
