[opensuse] Something strange going on
Guys, I need to ask what I need to check because since 10:30am I haven't gotten any mail to my gmail account. Nothing from opensuse@opensuse.org or opensuse-marketing@opensuse.org. Since I am using google mail, the first I have done is may sure it not going to spam and that I don't have a filter set up by mistake. Nothing is going to Spam and no filters. So what else can I check? I hope I get an answer back. -- ----------------------------------------- Discover it! Enjoy it! I think it was being held for some hours on suse servers. Next time, check on http://lists.opensuse.org/archive/opensuse/2009-10 to learn if it is general or your problem. - -- Cheers, Carlos E. Two things: 1) 10:30am without a time zone is ambiguous. Apparently that's 18:30 UCT or 11:30 AM my time. 2) You can see for yourself what has come across the list here: http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse/ Be sure to go to the last page (of four, currently). Aside from your own ping, replies to it and this thread, there has been no traffic. You're not missing anything...

<joke> Maybe Henne got really drunk and configured the mailing list server to eat random posts.. </joke> Seriously, maybe nobody has asked a question today. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Wow, ok. Just seem too quite. Good to see that someone see my e-mail and I got answers back. Usually there is a ton of message so it was a bit strange that nothing else. :-) thanks. I will relax a bit now. I don't feel it's a day without my mailing list. -- ----------------------------------------- Discover it! Enjoy it! from his own email headers: Date: Wed, 14 Oct 2009 18:57:12 -0400 I think it's a safe assumption that he means 11:30am in the -0400 timezone, so he probably means for about 8 hours. I've only got 9 messages "today", and even in my time zone (+1300), that is a little unusual. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Yesterday night, on another list of oS I suddenly got a bunch of mail
delayed several hours, as could be seen on the headers.
Look, from his email:

There must be some kind of glitch in the server. Where I normally have about 80~120 emails, I have only seen about 25 today, and some of them are unrelated to this list. It will surely clear up by tomorrow--_somebody_ knows how to fix it! --dm -- Blessed are the peacemakers ... for they shall be shot at from both sides. --A.M.
