I think it's a safe assumption that he means 11:30am in the -0400 timezone, so he probably means for about 8 hours. I've only got 9 messages "today", and even in my time zone (+1300), that is a little unusual.

There must be some kind of glitch in the server. Where I normally have about 80~120 emails, I have only seen about 25 today, and some of them are unrelated to this list.
