Had to downsize from my 19" CRT to a 15" LCD. Got the settings OK, but when booting up, the monitor tells me I am exceeding its capacity. When I get to kdm, no more issues. How do I correct the resolution settings for grub? I am using 9.2 by the way. TIA Harry G

You would need to reboot for the values to take effect. -- Joe Morris New Tribes Mission Email Address: Joe_Morris@ntm.org Registered Linux user 231871

I am not familiar with the numeric values of the monitor settings. Any idea where I can read about this? Harry G
