[SLE] add linux to windows 2003 domain
Hi, i've suse 9.0 professional. I want with samba, add linux to windows 2003 domain. When config Samba with Yast respond that can't add my machine to domain. So if i share a folder (from linux or windows) when click it for open ask me a user and a password every times (this is very noise). But i can't paste a document. How can resolve this problem? Thanks.

Hi - Stupid question, but have you added the machine to the domain from the Windows side? I'm not sure if you will need to add the username and password (identical to that on the SUSE system) or not with Server, but it couldn't hurt. Usually if you get a request for username and password from an NT-kernel-based box, it is because the machine/user requesting use of shared resources isn't authenticated - this will happen even on Windows workstations if they aren't "known" to a Windows server.
