Linux alternative to RealPlayer ?
Hi, I set my brother up with Suse linux 7.1, and now he wants to know if there is any linux equivalent of RealPlayer for streaming video. I told him not. Is that correct? There is no way of downloading something like realplayer and playing it straight out of web pages, right? ---- regards, Stephen Clarke

Go to Realplayers homepage. Realplayer 8 for Linux is there. -- Mads Martin Joergensen, http://mmj.dk "Why make things difficult, when it is possible to make them cryptic and totally illogic, with just a little bit more effort." -- A. P. J.
RealPlayer 8 works fine on Linux. It also has plugins for Netscape. And it works both for audio and video, so your information is incorrect. -Kastus On Mon, Apr 16, 2001 at 07:19:39PM +0100, longusername@ntlworld.com wrote:
